Friday October 16th, Discovery Saint-Emilion
Duration: All day (9:00-18:00)
Fee: 95 Euros, including transport, wine tasting and lunch
This tour starts with a brief passage through the Bastide of Libourne. Discover Saint-Emilion, a medieval city which was built at the end of the 13th Century, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.
The millenary vineyards of this region, on the right bank of the Garonne, are renowned worldwide.

Saint-Emilion remains one of the most interesting towns in France because of the many old buildings confined within a very small space, and the poetic charm of its ruins. It has kept some of its fortifications: collegial church, monolithic church, the king's castle, the square steeple of the Jacobins, the town wall, and the ramparts transformed into gardens.

Friday October 16th, Discovery Arcachon
Duration: All day (9:00-18:00/18:30)
Fee: 65 Euros, including transport and lunch
A little escape on a boat and a tour in the wintry town, these are two wonderful ways to discover the Arcachon Basin.
The "Dune du Pyla" will be a real trip in a world of golden sand dominated by a sand mountain.

The basin is a little green-blue colored sea which opens a narrow way to the Atlantic Ocean, it seems to be a ceaseless struggle between the surge and the wind, which reshape the landscapes and mark the rhythm of its locals' life.
With the low tide, the oyster beds and the channels stand out and we can even better see these wild isles where the birds find shelter.

Thursday October 15th, Discovery of Blayais
Duration: Half day (afternoon)
Fee: 35 Euros, including transport and wine tasting at the end of the visit
Dating from the lst century B.C., the Bourg vineyards are probably the oldest in Bordeaux. The region’s vine-covered slopes overlooking the Dordogne and the Gironde produce a full-bodied, smooth wine that remains fruity and elegant as it ages. The attractive flower-lined road along the estuary leads to the Citadelle of Blaye. This was built by Vauban in the 17th century and overlooks and the majestic Gironde estuary that has inspired so many writers and poets. The city of Blaye has given its name to the surrounding vineyards, which produce a soft, fruity, red wine with a pleasant bouquet. It also ages well.
